ballet intensive

A fantastic opportunity for pupils aged 7 -14 to take part in some more intensive training and work like 'real dancers'.

These more advanced afternoon sessions (1.15 - 4pm) are aimed at Primary, Grade 1 and Grade 2 level pupils (or equivalent experience).

Each afternoon includes an afternoon company class, led by the professional Ballet North team followed by a repertoire class led by guest teachers giving the pupils opportunity to learn new dance styles and develop their ballet technique.

Princesses, Pirates and Pointy Toes is three action packed mornings (9am - 12pm) for children aged 3 and a half - 7 years to get creative and have fun.

Taught by the professional Ballet North team and guest teachers, the sessions will include dancing, singing, choreography/ creative tasks, and arts and crafts.

Each day will be a different ballet adventure for our pirates and princesses - the children will follow a story, learn the dance moves, make their own props and costumes and finish the day with a mini performance for parents and friends.
